Game Programmer

Studio Decay is looking for someone to join our small team as a game programmer in Unity. Our ideal candidate will have a mastery of C# and have shipped Unity game projects before.

The role will see you come on board on our first game, currently heading towards alpha. We are looking for a team player who shares our vision of storytelling and gameplay, and willing to jump head-first into an existing project to help bring it to completion. We’re a small team and as a programmer you’ll be wearing a lot of hats and responsible for a variety of systems in the game.

You will be working closely with artists, other programmers, and our game director to flesh out existing systems as well as bring new ones to life. A collaborative mindset will be crucial.


  • Tackling new game programming tasks as well as digging into existing game systems for completion, bug fixing, and polish.

  • Work with artists on technical aspects of effects and art direction.

  • Ensure great game performance on different platforms (PC/Mac, Console, Mobile).

  • Receive feedback and modify work based on direction.


  • Mastery of programming in C# for games

  • Experience with Unity’s Editor and core libraries, having shipped at least one Unity game

  • Work remotely; be available for remote meetings during PST core working hours
